Sportler engagieren sich für Kinderrechte und gegen Misshandlung und Missbrauch
Initiative „Budo-Sportler mit Herz“ in Osterholz-Scharmbeck
Budo-Meister Marco Gevatter engagiert sich nicht nur für den Nachwuchs in seiner Sportart – er ist auch Botschafter des Deutschen Kindervereins e.V. Der Verein kämpft bundesweit für Kinderrechte und gegen Misshandlung und Missbrauch von Kindern. Im Jahr 2014 gründete Gevatter die Initiative „Budo-Sportler mit Herz“, unterstützt wird er dabei von Frank Nickel, Peter Böschen und Janine Girth. Mit hochkarätigen Trainern veranstaltet die Initiative jedes Jahr im Februar Budo-Seminare in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Die Teilnahmegebühren kommen dem Deutschen Kinderverein zugute, was mittlerweile schon mehr als 66.000 Euro eingebracht hat.
