Rainer Rettinger

Born in Oberhausen in 1957, communications manager Rainer Rettinger most recently worked for four years as Head of Marketing and Fundraising for the Bundesverband Kinderhospiz e.V., which works for terminally ill children who receive professional care until their death and are provided affection and a home in hospices. He was commended by the Deutscher Fundraisingverband as one of Germany’s three most innovative fundraisers in 2012. Rainer Rettinger is married and the father of two children. He has been the Managing Director of the Deutscher Kinderverein since 1 April 2014.
